1/16 Buildings & Scenery

Little pet project of mine here. Not having the luxury of a permenant site to run tanks on I decided to make something easy to store and easy to transport. Well, a few cardboard boxes late, a little wallpaper, a touch of the Rolf Harris and Blue Peter magic and this is what I ended up with! Everything folds flat (with exception of the guard tower) and is light and easy to transport. I plan to eventually construct and entire Normandy style village and maybe retire to it someday ;O)

For the ever-growing collection of Dust Warfare scenery check out the Dust Buildings page!

A generic Norman Church

That's a 1/16 Tiger, shows how BIG the church is!

And it all folds up flat for storage and transportation

The Large Town house looks very impressive and offers a  good obstacle in battles!

The Large Town House form another angle

Another example of how the buildings fold flat for storage

A smaller building

The Artillery has done it's job on this Ruined Town house, that Tiger had better watch there are no Bazooka teams hiding in the rubble!

The Large Ruined Town House, an excellent sniper's nest!

This Large ruined town house provides an excellent Ambush spot for the E8

Yet another variation on the town buildings

A farm building offering little comfort to this E8 as the Tiger's Approach

This old farmyard barn offers little protection from an 88mm shell but may just offer the Sherman a chance to sneak up and ambush the German armour!

A few of the buildings and set pieces put together

As you can see this thing is huge and complicated! All I had to work off was a small screenshot from a computer game but I was quite pleased with the results :O)

Close up of some of the set pieces, all set on their own boards so they can be moved around

Take cover!

An M26 rumbles through the town square on it's way to give the bosch a good seeing to!

The E8 takes refuge amongst the ruined walls, all thats left of this house after artillery has been called in!
