Thunderbolt Fighters

Every good commander understands the importance of air support so it seemed only right to build some!

these scratch built models are based on the thunderbolt, slightly scaled up to make em look more beefy, I have designed the based to allow the aircraft to be posed in several different banking and flying positions Tally ho!

main superstructure from card and various plastic and card to bring out the detail	yeah, drinking straws too!	I have made the bases so I can pose the aircraft veering off, diving, climbing, etc. Intend to do some bombs releasing on thin wire for a more dynamic look, maybe even some ground explosions!

All done and ready for action!	Kept the colours nice and nuetral, reckons it would sit nicely with the vivid colours of teh Warprunners Titans	The Thunderbolts can be posed in any banking/climbing or diving position, funky!
Iiiiinnncccooommiiiinnnggg	Decided to personalise each aircraft with its own 'nose art'	So we have the 'Thundercat', flown by Capt. "Grimnir" Kirk
'Warclaws' piloted by flight leader Lt. Col. "Bulldog' Allen	And "Baby Boom", flown by second in command Maj. "Balrob" Bastow	And of course each has there own kill markings! makes games more fun when you witness wour own avatars demise, blown into several pieces and scattered over the 4 corners of the gaming table! :OP
Cobbled up a few landing gear bogies too	This way the Thunderbolts can be posed in the landed position and used as scenery if need be!
